Your treatment doesn’t end when you complete a program. You do not have to continue on alone. We can do this together. Herrington gave us a great start in sobriety. We’re here to help with the rest of the journey. The Herrington-McBride Alumni Association is a thriving community of people in recovery who are committed to helping their peers sustain recovery.
Life After Treatment
The Herrington-McBride Alumni Association of Rogers Behavioral Health is here for you! Our Alumni group has been in existence for over 30 years, with almost 2,000 members from all over the country. Our mission as an alumni association is to support the residents of the Herrington Center for Addiction Recovery both while in residential treatment and as they transition to a recovery support network in their home community.
We have numerous events throughout the year for the current patients at Herrington including an annual reunion picnic for all residential alumni and friends every summer on the third Saturday in June, a Halloween party, a New Year’s Eve celebration, winter retreat, quarterly pizza nights, and weekly alumni speakers. We also provide a quarterly newsletter and a website. Our Alumni also volunteer as sponsors for Herrington patients offering one-on-one support in recovery.
Support for the Journey Ahead
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that exists to serve and support each other. All that is needed to become a member is to sign-up with the Alumni Group. You will receive our quarterly newsletter with information and updates about what we are doing and how to stay connected. There is no cost or commitment required.
Research shows that staying connected and involved in a recovery network is a key predictor of sustained recovery. The first word in a 12-step recovery program is “we”. We can do this together. We look forward to having you join us!
