Nancy J. Goranson, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who serves as the director of training for Rogers Behavioral Health Health’s clinical psychology doctoral internship program. The internship program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).

Dr. Goranson has extensive experience in training and education. Prior to joining Rogers, she served for more than a decade as the director of training with St. Michael Hospital Behavioral Health Center. Dr. Goranson chairs of the APA approved Continuing Education Sponsorship Association advisory committee at Rogers, which reviews and approved proposed continuing education programs for healthcare professionals.

Dr. Goranson received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with honors from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Wheeling, Illinois, and completed a doctoral psychology internship at St. Michael Hospital in Milwaukee. Her clinical interest areas include suicide, self-harm, and externalizing behaviors in youth. She has a passion for exploring the impact of sociopolitical factors that impact childhood experiences and their consequences on the family system. Additionally, Dr. Goranson has expertise in the areas of training and supervision.

Dr. Goranson is a member of the American Psychological Association and listed with the National Register of Health Care Providers.
