Matthew E. Kleban, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist and medical director of child and adolescent inpatient care at Rogers Behavioral Health in West Allis. In addition to providing care to children and teens, Dr. Kleban treats adults receiving inpatient care. His primary clinical interests include mood disorders and trauma; he enjoys the challenge of helping children who have been considered ‘treatment resistant.’
Dr. Kleban received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, followed by his internship in medicine at Westchester Medical Center. He completed his residency in psychiatry and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Kleban served as a staff psychiatrist in New York, working primarily with children and adolescents in positions with the New York City Children’s Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center. He also served as assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral services at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Kleban is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
