Andrea M. Brownridge, MD, JD, MHA, is dually board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Brownridge is based in Tampa and provides in-person and telemedicine care to patients at several Rogers Behavioral Health locations across the United States.
Dr. Brownridge earned her juris doctor from Georgia State University and practiced law for several years before pursuing a career as a physician. She received her medical degree and Master of Healthcare Administration from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, followed by an adult psychiatry residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Florida, in Gainesville.
Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Brownridge provided psychiatry care at several outpatient clinics in Florida. Her clinical interest areas include anxiety and mood disorders, with a focus on the specific challenges and needs of the neurodivergent population.
Dr. Brownridge is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Florida Psychiatric Society, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Black Psychiatrists of America, Neuroscience Education Institute, American Medical Association, The Gold Humanism Honor Society, and the State Bar of Georgia.
