Marybeth Herbst-Flagstad has been named the first general counsel for Rogers Behavioral Health. In this new role, she will oversee risk management in addition to providing general counsel on legal matters for Rogers Behavioral Health System and Rogers Memorial Hospital.

Rogers Behavioral Health–Minneapolis opens its doors today in Eden Prairie, MN, bringing local access to specialized outpatient services for children and teens facing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or related anxiety disorders, and adults struggling with depression and other mood disorders. Services for adults with OCD and anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and eating disorders will follow later this summer.

Art Therapist Helps Patients Come to Terms with Mental Health Issues

Laura Teoli, an art therapist for Rogers Memorial Hospital, knows the power of creating art. Since 2007, she has been helping patients at Rogers face their mental health challenges head on through art therapy activities. This includes starting the art therapy program at Rogers Memorial Hospital–Madison in 2010, where she still works with adults in the partial hospital programs coping with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, dual diagnosis and eating disorders.
